Filis maniató a Harper y Nacionales, que ya no alcanzará a Dodgers
FILADELFIA -- Jake Thompson y cuatro relevistas se combinaron para maniatar a los Nacionales de Washington, y los Filis de Filadelfia estropearon el retorno de Bryce Harper con una victoria el martes por 4-1.
Con la derrota, Washington quedó como el segundo preclasificado en los playoffs de la Liga Nacional, por detrás de los Dodgers de Los Ángeles. Los Nacionales recibirán al campeón de la División Central --los Cachorros o Cerveceros de Milwaukee-- en una serie divisional que se pondrá en marcha el 6 de octubre en el Nationals Park.
La victoria asegura que Filadelfia (63-95) no perderá 100 juegos. Los Filis no alcanzan esa cantidad de reveses desde 1961, cuando perdieron 107 de 154 juegos.
Thompson (3-2) toleró una carrera en cinco innings. Edubray Ramos, Adam Morgan, Luis García y Héctor Neris se combinaron para nueve ponches en cuatro innings perfectos. El dominicano obtuvo su 25to salvado.
Gio González (15-8) cargó con la derrota al permitir tres carreras en cinco innings.
