Espanyol 3-0 Leganes

Espanyol secured their first home win of the season at the seventh attempt as two goals early in the second half set them up for a 3-0 victory at home to Leganes.
Quickfire goals from Gerard Moreno and Pablo Piatti did the damage as Leganes failed to build on their win over Osasuna, with the defeat their fifth in six matches.
Piatti added his second late on to put extra gloss on the result for the hosts, who are now unbeaten in seven league games.
Leganes' number one Jon Ander Serantes was forced off with an injury in the 27th minute, with Italian Alberto Brignoli coming on to replace him.
Piatti failed to test the new man with a shot off-target shortly afterwards after Gerard had teed him up, while Alberto Martin shot over the bar at the other end.
The visitors twice clamoured for a penalty after challenges on Gabriel and Luciano in the box, but the tide turned almost as soon as the second half began.
First Gerard poked home on the rebound after good work out wide from Jurado with the new half barely under way.
Quique Sanchez Flores' men continued their lightning start to the second half as a great pass from Leo Baptistao found Piatti, whose cross-shot was too good for Brignoli in the 50th minute.
Ramos fired over for Leganes after Espanyol goalkeeper Lopez failed to deal with a corner and after 62 minutes another good chance came Piatti's way at the other end after great work in the build-up by Gerard, but he fired straight at Brignoli.
He made no mistake with three minutes to go though as he latched on to Jurado's long pass and beat Brignoli with a classy finish.
