Marek Hamsik brings up his 100th Napolo goal against Chievo

Marek Hamsik scored his 100th goal for Napoli as the Serie A title challengers beat Chievo 2-0.
After Manolo Gabbiadini got the ball rolling at the San Paolo, Slovakian schemer Hamsik hit a major career landmark to rubber-stamp the three points, which keep Napoli in touch with leaders Juventus.
Maurizio Sarri's men failure to score in a game for the first time this season, in the goalless draw with Genoa, had allowed Juve to take advantage and reach top spot with a midweek thrashing of Cagliari.
Summer signing Arkadiusz Milik already has six goals for the Azzurri but his drought against Genoa led to Gabbiadini getting the nod in attack, alongside Jose Callejon and Lorenzo Insigne.
Gabbiadini went close with a header early on and repaid Sarri's faith in him with the opening goal in the 24th minute.
Jorginho found Callejon who in turn found Gabbiadini for a left-footed finish past Stefano Sorrentino.
Napoli were 2-0 up six minutes before the break as Hamsik reached a century of goals in a blue shirt by powering an unstoppable shot through Sorrentino's gloves.
The hosts found life harder when play resumed and it was Chievo who enjoyed the next opportunity, Antonio Floro Flores going close in a one-on-one in the 73rd minute.
Napoli bit back with Insigne feeding Milik, thrown into the fray for Gabbiadini.
Sorrentino got down well to deny the prolific Pole, who will have to wait this week's Champions League meeting with Benfica to resume his hunt for goals.
