Belgium cruise by Andorra to secure place at Euro 2016

Belgium romped to a 4-1 win at Andorra on Saturday evening to seal a place at Euro 2016.

The victory at Andorra's Estadi Nacional has lifted the Red Devils to the top of Group B, two points above nearest rivals Wales heading into their final qualifier. The Welsh lost 2-0 at Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Radja Nainggolan put Belgium on their way in the 19th minute when he struck a 25-yard right-footed shot towards the near post to beat Andorra goalkeeper Ferran Poli.

Belgium doubled their lead three minutes before the interval when Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne drilled a 30-yard free-kick out of Poli's reach.

Andorra reduced the arrears six minutes after the restart.

After Belgium's Jan Vertonghen brought down Victor Hugo Moreira in the area, Ildefons Lima converted a penalty with a right-footed shot towards the near post, sending Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet the other way.

The Belgians restored their two-goal advantage in the 56th minute, also with a spot-kick. Chelsea winger Eden Hazard converted the opportunity after Oscar Sonejee's handball.

The visitors all but put the result beyond doubt in the 64th minute when debutant Laurent Depoitre tapped in Dries Mertens' cross.

With 12 minutes remaining, Hazard had an opportunity to score his second of the night after Gabriel Riera's handball -- however, his spot-kick towards the centre of goal was saved by Poli.

Andorra have lost all nine qualifiers and are at the foot of the standings.

The Belgians, coached by Marc Wilmots, end their qualifying campaign at home to Israel on Tuesday while Andorra play at Wales.
