Inter Milan maintain perfect start as late goals sink Crotone

Inter Milan scored two late goals to maintain their 100 percent start to the Serie A campaign with a 2-0 triumph at struggling Crotone.

Slovakia defender Milan Skriniar poked home from 12 yards after a goalmouth scramble eight minutes from time to set Luciano Spalletti's side on their way.

And Ivan Perisic sealed matters in stoppage time, cutting inside and fizzing a right-footed shot into the bottom-right corner to secure Inter their fourth straight win this term.

Second-bottom Crotone have picked up just one point from a possible 12 this season, but started on the front foot and had the best chance of the first half when Aleksandar Tonev's shot from the edge of the box forced a decent save out of visiting goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

Davide Nicola's plucky hosts continued to hold their own but their resistance was finally broken in the 82nd minute when Skriniar, a summer signing from Sampdoria, notched his first goal for his new club.

That looked like being enough, but Joao Mario fed Perisic on the edge of the area in the second minute of stoppage time and the Croatia forward unleashed a fine finish to give Inter breathing space.
