Villarreal 0-2 Deportivo La Coruña

Faycal Fajr and Lucas Perez scored in either half as Deportivo La Coruna secured another season in the Primera Division with a 2-0 win at Villarreal.
Deportivo went into Sunday's game four points above the relegation zone and claimed the victory they needed at El Madrigal to retain their top-flight status with a game to spare.
Villarreal earned a top-four finish by beating Valencia last weekend but their season continues to peter out after they suffered a European hangover.
Marcelino Garcia Toral's side were dumped out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage by Liverpool in midweek and they started slowly against Depor, who hit the woodwork through Luis Alberto just three minutes in.
Leo Baptistao twice went close as Villarreal worked their way into the match but the hosts fell behind after 32 minutes.
Federico Cartabia did well to pick out Fajr 25 yards out and the Morocco international bent a brilliant right-footed strike high into the corner of Mariano Barbosa's goal.
And it was 2-0 on 57 minutes as Perez raced clear after latching onto Alberto's clearance and lashing a left-footed shot past the helpless Barbosa from 10 yards.
Baptistao hit a post with a header as Villarreal tried to mount a response but they failed to reduce the deficit and were grateful for Barbosa for keeping the score down when he saved Alberto's fine effort.
It mattered little as Depor ended their six-game winless streak to avoid a nervy final game of the season against title-chasing Real Madrid.
