No confidence in the FA — the conclusion of the parliamentary committee chairman after a four-hour grilling of its decision makers over the Mark Sampson saga Wednesday. FA chief executive Martin Glenn was forced to deny blackmail and chairman Greg Clarke described institutional racism as "fluff" before retracting the description and explaining himself, then chairman Damian Collins condemned the governing body. "Does what you've seen today inspire confidence that they understand the issues well enough that they will put in place the right systems to ensure it doesn't happen again?" he asked. "I'm not convinced by what I've seen ... They have no real grievance procedures, they were making it up as they went along and they failed."
