Blue Jays dominan 6-2 a Mariners; Kikuchi gana a su exequipo
TORONTO (AP) -- Yusei Kikuchi permitió un imparable en seis entradas sin recibir anotación para imponerse a su exequipo, Bo Bichette y Matt Chapman dispararon jonrones en apoyo al lanzador zurdo y los Toronto Blue Jays dominaron el lunes 6-2 a los Seattle Mariners.
Bichette salió de 5-2, con dos producidas, y anotó un par de ocasiones después del regreso de los Blue Jays a su casa al cabo de una serie de visitantes en la que terminaron 2-7.
El dominicano Raimel Tapia consiguió un sencillo productor en la sexta entrada y el bateador emergente Alejandro Kirk sacudió un sencillo de dos carreras en la séptima. Los Blue Jays anotaron más de cinco por primera vez desde el 7 de mayo en la visita a Cleveland Guardians.
Toronto anotó siete carreras en tres partidos en Tampa Bay el fin de semana.
Los Mariners no han ganado cotejos consecutivos desde las victorias sobre Kansas City Royals el 24 de abril y Tampa Bay Rays el 26 de abril. Seattle tiene marca de visitante de 7-13.
