Astros toma temprana ventaja, resiste y vence a Blue Jays
HOUSTON (AP) -- Kyle Tucker pegó un cuadrangular de tres carreras y empató el máximo de su carrera con cuatro remolcadas para que los Houston Astros se despegaran en el marcador y resistieran al vencer el domingo 7-4 a los Toronto Blue Jays.
José Altuve agregó un jonrón solitario por los Astros, que ganaron la serie 2-1.
El bambinazo de Tucker destacó entre las cuatro carreras del cuarto inning con que los Astros ampliaron su ventaja a 7-0.
Rowdy Téllez conectó una curva de 69 mph de Zack Greinke para mandarla al segundo nivel de las gradas detrás del jardín derecho sin outs en la quinta entrada, el primero de cinco hits seguidos de los Blue Jays. Reese McGuire y Marcus Semien siguieron con sencillo antes de un doblete de Bo Bichette al jardín central que llevó a ambos a cruzar el plato para acercar a Toronto 7-3.
El dominicano Vladimir Guerrero Jr impulsó carrera con un sencillo para acercar a los Blue Jays a tres carreras y bajar del montículo a Greinke.
El dominicano Bryan Abreu (2-1) entró de relevo para retirar en orden a los siguientes tres bateadores para apuntarse una victoria en que el bullpen de Houston permitió tan solo dos sencillos por el resto del juego. Ryan Pressly ponchó a dos n la novena entrada para sumar su sexto salvamento.
