BALTIMORE (AP) -- Zack Greinke llevó un juego de cuatro hits hasta el octavo inning, Myles Straw conectó un jonrón e impulsó para dos carreras y los Houston Astros superaron 3-1 el martes a los Baltimore Orioles para su novena victoria consecutiva.
Greinke (8-2) permitió una carrera y cinco hits con cuatro ponches y un boleto en 7 1/3 entradas. Enfrentando a los Orioles por primera vez desde el 2010, el derecho de 37 años sólo permitió que un corredor superara la segunda base y disminuyó su efectividad a 3.56.
Brooks Raley tuvo dos ponches en la octava y Ryan Pressly logró su 11mo salvamento en 12 oportunidades.
Straw conectó un jonrón solitario en la segunda entrada y un sencillo para la carrera del desempate en la séptima antes de que Chas McCormick agregara un elevado de sacrificio en la octava.
