Marlins derrotan 8-2 a Nationals; Alcántara retira a 20 en fila
MIAMI (AP) -- El dominicano Sandy Alcántara permitió tres hits y retiró a sus últimos 20 bateadores en poco más de ocho entradas para que los Miami Marlins lograran apenas su cuarta victoria en 15 partidos al derrotar el lunes 8-2 a los Washington Nationals.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. y Bryan De La Cruz conectaron tres imparables cada uno y el venezolano Avisaíl García disparó un cuadrangular para los Marlins, que tuvieron 16 imparables e igualaron su segundo mejor registro en esta temporada.
Alcantara (3-2) necesitó de 43 lanzamientos para salir de las primeras dos entradas y 57 para pasar de la tercera entrada a la octava. Washington tuvo tres hits en la primera, incluido un sencillo productor de Yadiel Hernández y tuvo las bases llenas con un out antes de que Maikel Franco pegara una rola para forzar el out en home y Lane Thomas se ponchó.
Alcantara ponchó a cinco, dio una base por bolas y golpeó a un par de bateadores.
Aaron Sánchez (2-3) permitió cuatro carreras, ocho hits y tres bases por bolas en dos entradas y dos tercios. Washington ha perdido nueve de 12 y está en último lugar en la División del Este de la Nacional.
