SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Logan Webb resolvió seis innings con pelota de seis imparables y los San Francisco Giants lo respaldaron con cuatro vuelacercas para arrollar el sábado 9-2 a los Cincinnati Reds.
Evan Longoria, Joc Pederson, así como los venezolanos Thairo Estrada y Wilmer Flores, conectaron sendos jonrones por San Francisco, que cortó una seguidilla de tres derrotas.
Los Giants habían perdido cinco de seis encuentros luego de ganar siete de sus ocho anteriores.
El emergente Matt Reynolds conectó un cuadrangular por Cincinnati, que ha perdido ocho de sus últimos nueve compromisos.
Los Reds aprovecharon un error de fildeo del antesalista Longoria, cuando había dos outs en la parte alta del segundo acto, para tomar la ventaja, con un sencillo productor de Nick Senzel.
