SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Carlos Rodón toleró dos anotaciones en seis entradas, Mike Yastrzemski empujó tres carreras y los San Francisco Giants se impusieron el viernes 5-3 sobre los Pittsburgh Pirates.
San Francisco, que tiene una foja de apenas 7-14 desde la pausa por el Juego de Estrellas, cortó una racha de cuatro descalabros en casa, en momentos en que busca acercarse a la zona de postemporada.
Con un registro de 55-57, los Giants marchan siete juegos y medio debajo de los San Diego Padres, quienes controlan por ahora el tercero y último boleto de playoffs en la Liga Nacional.
