SAN DIEGO (AP) — El dominicano Juan Soto igualó la mejor marca de su carrera con cinco hits, además de producir cuatro carreras, su compatriota Gary Sánchez conectó su cuarto jonrón en nueve duelos desde que se incorporó a San Diego, y los Padres aplastaron el miércoles 10-3 a los Marineros de Seattle.
Soto sumó cuatro sencillos y un doble, para elevar su promedio a .265 con 10 vuelacercas y 31 impulsadas por San Diego, que igualó su mayor cifra de la temporada con 17 imparables.
En el cuarto inning, Soto pegó un sencillo productor, mientras que en el quinto consiguió otro de dos carreras como parte de un racimo de tres y en el séptimo disparó un doble remolcador que colocó la pizarra 10-0.
Salvo por Trint Grisham, todos los peloteros que jugaron de inicio por los Padres batearon hit.
