PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Kutter Crawford toleró una carrera en seis entradas de labor eficiente, y los Boston Red Sox derrotaron el sábado 4-2 a los Pittsburgh Pirates.
Crawford (1-0 con efectividad de 0.66) recetó seis ponches y regaló tres boletos. El derecho de 28 años permitió siete hits, su mayor número de la campaña.
No había aceptado más de tres inatrapables en ninguna otra de sus cuatro aperturas previas. Admitió dos en cada una de sus tres últimas salidas, y ha recibido tres carreras en 27 innings y un tercio durante la presente campaña.
