CHICAGO (AP) - Dansby Swanson disparó un jonrón de tres carreras durante un ataque de cuatro anotaciones en el primer inning, y los Chicago Cubs, pese a encontrarse diezmados, superaron el miércoles 4-3 a los Houston Astros.
Sin Cody Bellinger, Chicago se valió del bate de Swanson y de una buena salida de Jameson Taillon para enhebrar su segundo triunfo. Buscará la barrida en la serie de tres juegos este jueves.
Taillon (2-0) toleró dos carreras -una limpia--, así como siete imparables en cinco innings y dos tercios. El derecho recetó cuatro ponches y expidió un par de boletos en su segunda apertura desde que comenzó la temporada en la lista de los lesionados por un tirón en la espalda.
Houston cayó por séptima ocasión en ocho encuentros. Ha anotado un gran total de 21 careras durante esta mala racha.
El tropiezo fue para Spencer Arrighetti (0-3), quien admitió siete hits, recetó siete ponches y caminó a dos rivales.
