DENVER (AP) — El venezolano Ezequiel Tovar pegó un doble y un triple, Brenton Doyle conectó un jonrón de tres carreras en una explosiva cuarta entrada de siete anotaciones y los Rockies de Colorado pusieron fin a una racha de cuatro derrotas el jueves al apalear 9-1 los Gigantes de San Francisco.
Colorado, que inició el juego con la peor marca de las Grandes Ligas, ganó su noveno juego de la campaña y evitó perder una serie por barrida por cuarta ocasión.
Charlie Blackmon empujó dos carreras y terminó a un cuadrangular del ciclo con Colorado.
