Diamondbacks evitan barrida con victoria ante unos sorprendentemente inefectivos Orioles
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Zac Gallen trabajó seis sólidas entradas y los Arizona Diamondbacks vencieron a unos sorprendentemente inefectivos Baltimore Orioles 9-2 el domingo, para conseguir su primera victoria en Camden Yards desde 2007.
Los Orioles permitieron tres carreras sucias, además de otras tantas limpias, pero que se relacionaron con errores defensivos. Jake McCarthy pegó jonrón por los Diamondbacks y Adley Rutschman se fue profundo por Baltimore.
Gallen (5-2) llevó el sin hits a la quinta y ultimadamente aceptó dos carreras con cuatro imparables. Ponchó a cuatro y repartió dos bases por bolas.
Dean Kremer (3-3) permitió tres carreras limpias, cuatro hits y dio cuatro bases por bolas en cinco entradas y dos tercios, ponchando a 10.
El juego se retrasó 33 minutos en la parte alta de la séptima por la lluvia.
Kremer fue perfecto en tres entradas antes de aceptar el doble de Corbin Carroll para abrir la cuarta. Intentó sorprender en Carroll, pero lo golpeó en el intento, por lo que avanzó a tercera con ese error y anotó con elevado de sacrificio de Christian Walker.
