Ohtani llega a 24 jonrones y lidera la Nacional; Dodgers vencen a White Sox
CHICAGO (AP) -- Shohei Ohtani inauguró el encuentro con un jonrón y rompió el empate con un sencillo, para que Los Ángeles Dodgers superaran el martes 4-3 a los Chicago White Sox.
Encabezados por Ohtani y Freddie Freeman, los Dodgers ganaron por séptima ocasión en nueve compromisos. Los líderes de la División Oeste de la Liga Nacional tienen una foja de 50-31, una vez transcurrida la mitad de su campaña.
Ohtani encontró una curva de Chris Flexen (2-7) y colocó la pelota en el bullpen, entre el jardín derecho y el central, para llegar a 24 vuelacercas, con los que lidera la Liga Nacional. El jardinero derecho Tommy Pham trató de atrapar la pelota con un salto pero fue incapaz de hacerlo.
El japonés recibió además un boleto y anotó en un jonrón de dos carreras de Freeman en la tercera entrada. Bateó de nuevo en el cuarto acto y dio a Los Ángeles la ventaja por 4-3 por medio de un sencillo productor, con dos outs.
Por los Dodgers, los cubanos Andy Pagés de 4-0, Miguel Vargas de 2-1. El venezolano Miguel Rojas de 3-0.
