Arozarena pega su 1er grand slam y Rays superan a Orioles
SAN PETERSBURG, Florida, EE.UU. -- Randy Arozarena pegó el primer grand slam de su carrera, los relevistas de Tampa Bay cubrieron siete entradas sin permitir imparables, y los Rays le propinaron el domingo a los Baltimore Orioles su 15ta derrota consecutiva fuera de casa, por 7-1.
Los Orioles ampliaron un nefasto récord del equipo, la peor racha como visitantes desde que el club se mudó de St. Louis a Baltimore en 1954.
Arozarena puso la pizarra 7-1 cuando rompió una sequía de 19 juegos en casa sin jonrón con un tablazo que se fue al jardín central ante César Valdez en el séptimo episodio.
Luego de que el abridor Michael Wacha permitió una carrera y dos imparables, Josh Fleming (6-4) subió a la lomita en la tercera y entregó un pasaporte, con dos outs, y ese fue el último bateador que se embasó en cuatro capítulos.
