DETROIT (AP) -- Los Tampa Bay Rays anotaron siete carreras en la novena entrada, con dos bateadores recibiendo bases por bolas con casa llena, para derrotar a los Detroit Tigers 7-0 el domingo.
Con el juego empatado a ceros en la novena, el mexicano Isaac Paredes pegó un sencillo frente al cerrador de los Tigers, Gregory Soto (2-6), luego avanzó a tercera con un doble de Francisco Mejía. Soto dio pasaporte a José Siri para llenar las bases, luego falló un lanzamiento con cuenta de 3-2 a Yu Chang.
Soto regaló base por bolas a Yandy Díaz, su cuarto bateador en la entrada, para poner la pizarra 2-0.
Jason Foley reemplazó a Soto y aceptó un sencillo productor de dos carreras a Brandon Lowe, un doble de dos carreras de Randy Arozarena y un sencillo productor de Román Quinn. Paredes, el 11mo bateador de la entrada, se ponchó.
El abridor de los Rays, Drew Rasmussen, lanzó tres entradas en blanco y Colin Poche (4-1) se apuntó la victoria.
