Mauro Icardi's stoppage-time strike earned Frank de Boer his first win as Inter Milan boss and sank newly-promoted Serie A side Pescara 2-1.
Inter, without a win since De Doer replaced Roberto Mancini two weeks before the start of the season, were trailing to Jean-Christophe Bahebeck's second-half goal before Icardi's late double rescued the Dutchman.
Substitute Bahebeck gave Massimo Oddo's side a 63rd-minute lead, but Icardi headed a 77th-minute equaliser and then fired the winner in the first minute of time added on.
Inter, who lost 2-0 at Chievo on the opening day and were held 1-1 by Palermo at the San Siro in their previous match, were kept at bay by Pescara goalkeeper Albano Bizzarro in the first half.
Bizzarro denied Icardi and then produced a fine double save to keep out Argentina midfielder Ever Banega's shot and Antonio Candreva's effort from the rebound.
Icardi was wayward with numerous second-half headers from some brilliant balls into the box from Candreva, while Inter keeper Samir Handanovic kept out Ledian Memushaj's goalbound effort as both sides continued to create chances.
Pescara made the breakthrough in the 63rd minute when Bahebeck stole in to score from six yards following Francesco Zampano's cross.
Valerio Verre and Bahebeck both had shots saved as Pescara chased a second goal, but, after spurning another golden chance, Icardi made no mistake from a second Banega cross, heading powerfully home into the bottom corner to level the match.
Inter substitute Rodrigo Palacio was thwarted by Bizzarro in the 90th minute, but in the first minute of added time Icardi kept his composure when the ball fell to him in the area and steered the winner into the bottom corner.
