El enfrentamiento de la Final de NBA está oficialmente establecido. LeBron James y Los Angeles Lakers vencieron a los Denver Nuggets el sábado para avanzar al baile de coronación por primera vez desde 2010. Un día después, Miami Heat despachó a los Boston Celtics para obtener el otro boleto. No han estado en la Final desde que James se fue como agente libre en 2014.
Esta será la décima aparición de LeBron en las Finales, pero la primera contra su antiguo equipo. El tres veces Jugador Meas Valioso de Finales ganó dos títulos con el Heat y un tercero con los Cleveland Cavaliers en 2016. Tanto el Heat como los Lakers se perdieron los playoffs la temporada pasada.
