Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs') entró el sábado al MGM Grand Garden Arena, de Las Vegas, con una corona mientras lo llevaban al ensogado. Luego no tardó en demostrar que él es verdaderamente el 'Rey' del boxeo peso pesado.
"El Rey Gitano" derribó al previamente invicto Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KO's) en par de ocasiones y obtuvo una convincente victoria por nocaut, en el séptimo asalto, cuando la esquina de Wilder tiró la toalla.
La espectacular actuación de Fury, campeón peso pesado lineal invicto, recibió elogios en las redes sociales de todo tipo de atletas y celebridades, incluyendo al estelar LeBron James, de Los Angeles Lakers.
"¡Su esquina le hizo un FAVOR! No hay duda al respecto. ¡Estaba perdiendo el equilibrio y también puede que haya tenido una conmoción!", manifestó James.
"Fury es así. La primera caída fue (debido) al golpe detrás de la oreja y Wilder nunca se recuperó. Quiero ver Fury vs. Joshua si no hay revancha", agregó por su parte Damian Lillard.
