MADRID -- Un gol del belga Romelu Lukaku en el tiempo añadido dio el empate al Everton ante el West Ham (1-1) y llevó al desempate (replay) la eliminatoria de treintaidosavos de final de la FA Cup.
En el partido disputado en el estadio Goodison Park de Liverpool, fue el West Ham el que tomó ventaja en el marcador a los 54 minutos con el tanto de James Collins, que batió al español Joel Robles.
Sin embargo, poco antes para el final, Lukaku superó al también español Adrián, meta visitante, para establecer el empate y llevar la eliminatoria al replay, que se jugará en Upton Park.
El otro partido de la jornada, entre el Scunthorpe y el Chesterfield, ambos de tercera categoría, también terminó sin vencedor (2-2) y quedará resuelto en el desempate.
Alex Davey y Lyle Taylor, antes del descanso, dejaron el enfrentamiento encarrilado para los locales. Pero dos tantos en los últimos veinte minutos, anotados por Eoin Doyle, de penalti, y James O'Shea, a seis del final, dejaron en el aire la serie.
