Este lunes, el ala defensiva de Las Vegas Raiders, Carl Nassib, se convirtió en el primer jugador en activo en la NFL en anunciar que es gay. Nassib hizo en anuncio en Instagram, señalando "He querido hacer esto desde hace algún tiempo, pero finalmente me siento cómodo para sacármelo del pecho".
El propietario de los Raiders, Mark Davis, dijo a Paul Gutierrez de ESPN después del anuncio de Nassib: "Es 2021. Todo el poder para Carl. No cambia mi opinión de él como persona o como Raider".
